You may recognize Tequila Avión as the spirit company that Turtle promoted as part of a major story arc on HBO’s “Entourage,” but it’s anything but “made-for-TV” tequila.

My Role

Lead creative in building brand from scratch: brand identity, strategy, campaign and creative development including print, OOH, on/off-premise, sales collateral and marketing materials.

And a once in a lifetime photoshoot at the distillery in Jesus Maria, Jalisco, MEX.

And with a package evolution, a wry sense of humor, and laser sharp marketing strategy, we more than delivered.

 

“Most smaller tequila companies don't even do 10,000 cases a year," owner Ken Austin said. "But our first order was 10,000.

 
 

In 2014, Pernod Ricard bought the majority of ownership, cementing Tequila Avion’s 1-million-case destiny.
