There’s a huge divide between college and the professional world.
We created a year-long student-centered program to provide students with experiences and content focused on relevant skills and knowledge like only the Wall Street Journal can.
Dream it.
Encourage students to take one of the first steps from student to professional. At career fairs and inspirational student events, the WSJ 'Picture Your Future' pop-up photography studio gives students a valuable tool to up their professional status–a fresh, personable LinkedIn profile photo.
Build it.
To help students to see that WSJ is an invaluable business resource, Wall Street Wednesday gives them a chance earn valuable Wall Street cred. Every Wednesday, business professors host a simple quiz, testing students' knowledge of the industry. Questions are pulled from that week's WSJ and relate to class topics. Wins bring business acumen, and can even earn them extra credit.
Grow it.
RAQs? Rarely Asked Questions, of course. This Speaker Series is part live interview, part informal conversation. WSJ will bring young, relatable and accomplished professionals to campus for an intimate Q&A. Students get to shed their fears and ask questions that often go unspoken. A student editor acts as Emcee getting the discussion flowing. A WSJ membership is required for entrance.
